Hi! Impressive to see that you aren't even home and are still checking the journals:) In the winter, it is dark all the time- the sun never rises. It is very windy, and very, very cold. The average low temperatures in January and February are between -40 and -50 celcius! Thats without the windchill! In the summer, the sun never sets, and it is much less windy. The temperatures seem to be the warmest in June and July, when they seem to stay right around -10 celcius. That may seem super cold to you, but it is actually really quite pleasant. There isn't a lot of moisture in the air, which makes it not seem so cold. For example, today it was around -16 celcius, but it felt like around the 30's (farenheit) back home! I even had to take my parka and snowpants off because I was too hot!
Talk to you soon
