Ms Geisbush,

My class is following your travel. Some of its pretty interesting, especially the part about guns and bears. I have another question.

I see that you are always carrying rifles. Have you had to use your rifle for protection? Are you really in danger of being attacked and eaten by a Polar Bear?

I'm really interested in the Polar Bears. What do they eat? Where do they live? How many are in the Svalbarr area? How well do they swim? How fast do they run? Do they eat the reindeer? How long do they live? What is their life span like? Are some more dangerous than others?

If you have any pictures of them raiding your camps that would be cool too!
