What do they eat fish or ham?

Dear Raphle,
From what I have experienced the people here eat a lot more fish than they do ham. Although I have seen some pigs around town, I haven't been offered ham anytime I have been eating. There are lots of fish that live in the river and so fishing is something that a lot of people do here to get food to eat. They know how to make some good fish dishes too! The other night we were at the principal of the school's house and her mother made some great fish pastries for us. It is amazing the things that you will try eating when you are in another country. If I were in the United States, I might never try eating a fish pastry but I am glad that I did because it was really good.
