To any scientist,

What is Pan-Arctic. You say the word in one of your reports, but i don't no the meaning, so i can't understand the report.

Hi Hunter,

Good question - I'm sorry I didn't explain what we mean by "Pan-Arctic" earlier. "Pan" means whole, or entire - so the Pan-
Arctic watershed is the entire land area that drains into the Arctic Ocean and Hudson Bay. So any rain or snow that falls into the pan-arctic watershed eventually flows from rivers into the Arctic Ocean or Hudson Bay. We're studying the six largest rivers in the pan-arctic watershed.
