Well, hello Mrs. Bejin! Thanks for calling yesterday; it was great to hear your voice, even though there was a small delay. I'll have to warn the kids about that. I love that your family is coming-how sweet! Donna's wondering if they are bringing us lunch like when they visit you. We miss you; the kids beg to email you (you'll return from the tundra as an expert speed typer from all of the replies that you've written.) Finally, it looks like the rain in good ol' E.C. is over. I am excited that it looks like it's going to be beautiful the last day of school for our walk to Bowlwinkles and picnic. I'm glad that it's gorgeous in Alaska as well; although I'm a little annoyed that even the tundra is warmer than E.C. Your journals are excellent (I can tell that you are an English teacher who follows the six traits of writing...outstanding word choice and voice!) Here are some quick random questions before the bell rings. Have you driven the boom truck yet? What are your sleeping conditions like? How are the two minute showers working out for you? When does the sun rise and set? Take Care!
Love,
Laurie Jo

I hope I remember the questions. I haven't driven the boom truck, it's only been moved once since I've been here. The sun rose last month and I think it starts to set maybe in July or August-I'll have to ask. I'm in a new dorm, which is great. Can't remember if there was another question-ask again if there was!
