Hi Guys,

The increasing discharge of the big Arctic rivers is probably a result of global warming. And as the earth continues to warm in the future, arctic river discharge will probably continue to increase. If we control global warming (by minimizing the amount of carbon dioxide we release into the atmosphere), we will also slow down the amount of extra freshwater entering the Arctic Ocean from rivers. And this will help keep the North Atlantic Ocean from getting so fresh that the "Conveyor" circulation stops.
