Wow! It is only the beginning and I am so excited! I don't actually get to go to Prince Patrick Island till July but the bright side is that this gives me plenty of time to get ready. I was delighted to find that I was going to participate in this adventure and even more delighted to find that I am able to share my experience with family, friends, and others with this journaling opportunity.
This journal will provide a wonderful opportunity to show my students one part of the scientific method in action. Oftentimes it seems hard for students in a classroom to really grasp how scientists utilize and customize the scientific method. By encouraging students to read my journal, and those of other projects, my students will begin to see the scientific method at work!
