Are Artic plants a good indicator of what would happen to plants if there was climate warming and nitrogen pollution on a global scale?

Many tundra plants are non vascular. They are very low growing, and grow on top of permafrost. They have a very short growing season.
There are many factors involved in their lives. As permafrost levels fluxuate, as incoming solar radiation changes due to changes in the ozone layer, population dynamics change. As I learn more about the specific project I'll be working with I will post to the journal section. Stay tuned for more specific science
