The coolest thing was coming back to the office and seeing that someone had found a caribou antler and brought it to me to bring back to show students. It's also cool hi nice everyone is. The most fun was probably helping out with the race yesterday. The weirdest was maybe trying to take a measurement down to the permafrost and placing my hand on a chunk of ice, which was the permafrost! Mrs. Bejin |

There are seals in Alaska, but they live near oceans. The animals I've seen are ground squirrels, many caribou, moose, and Dall sheep which can climb steep cliffs in the mountains. A few people have seen grizzly bears, but I haven't yet. I'd like to see a musk ox, but I haven't seen one of those yet either. Take care, Mrs. Bejin |
