Bio for Oliver Monson--Undergraduate Student from Berkeley

Hi, my name is Oliver Monson and I’m from Vallejo, California. I am a third year undergraduate at the University of California, Berkeley where I’m currently studying for a major in Molecular and Cellular Biology as well as Anthropology.

In my spare time I like to be with my friends, play tennis, cook and travel. During my summers I love visiting family in Serbia and traveling with them to new places.

I got involved in the PARTNERS project because I wanted to learn more about global warming and how it was affecting the world. I think it is a major problem that concerns everyone, and as a young student, it is important for me to learn and help out in any way because it will be my generation’s problem in the future. Another great part of this project was getting a chance to meet so many interesting people and learning about their cultures and way of life.
