Hello, I was wondering if you have found any strange or fascinating data in your experiment?

Hi Kelsey,
This is an interesting question because this project is still in the beginning phases. For the most part, the samples we are collecting now won't be analyzed until we get back to the U.S. So we won't really know if there are any big surprises for awhile. But it has been facinating to watch the river go from being completely frozen when we got here, to tons of huge pieces of broken up ice, to smaller bits as the river has been clearing out. We expect that the river chemistry will show big changes during this time period as well.
