Hey Mrs. Bejin,
If the permifrost melted would it let out any deadly gasses? And if it melted could it be used for any thing, like medicine?

Some scientists think if the permafrost melts the water will sink deeper into the tundra and the plant matter on top could start to decay. This wouldn't put out deadly gases, but it would put out greenhouse gases which can be linked to global warming. Enjoy your summer! Mrs. Bejin
