My name is Aleia truman you may or may not remember me. I am in Ms. Burk's 2nd core class. I was wondering how everthing is going.

Hi Aleia,
Things are going good so far. All the science personnel and myself were loaded onto the ship, HEALY, yesterday by heliocopter. It was fun. We have had a briefing giving us the rules to follow on the ship and we have been working hard to set up all the equipment and tied down everything so nothing will move while the ship is in motion. We are going to start moving toward the first sampling site as soon as all the tie down work is completed.
