Hello- first journal entry!!

This is my family in a much warmer place than I will be in a few weeks! I am very excited about this adventure, and I hope that my journal will allow my students to share in the experience with me. I will be having them reflect on my experiences, as well as reflecting on the team's journal. Through this process, I hope that my students will be as excited about this experience (and the science, too) as I am!! [/img]

Thanks for sending the photo of your family. Weather is cold, but with all the cold weather gear, it is not so bad. In addition, after a week or so you will be surprised how you get used to it.

We will be participating in the webinar today, but only from online. There is no phone at the Photochemistry Research Site (a.k.a. Sat Camp), and since most of the team is out here watching their instruments and collecting samples, we are not able to be on the phone.
