It is almost time for me to depart to Prince Patrick Island and I am so excited! My journey will begin on Friday, July 9th as I fly to Fairbanks, AK. On Saturday I will head out with Ronnie and Ina to drive to Dawson City, Sunday will take us to Inuvik and Tuesday we will fly to Prince Patrick. I am really excited to be able to drive from Fairbanks to Inuvik as it should be a beautiful road trip.
Alaska has been experiencing record highs and it feels odd to be packing my windproof fleece and down jacket in mid-July. Hopefully the good weather we have experienced will continue north on our trip.
