I will not be at DeLong tomorrow, the last day of school. I will be going to Chicago.
Why do the glaicers look blue or is that a mith? Write once you get some precipitation up there, I want to know what kind it is.

There was precipitation today, a litttle rain. There was also a beautiful rainbow. The glaciers being blue is kind of a long story, but glaciers aren't just frozen water, they are made of compacted snow crystals. The crystals are pushed together so much that the ice becomes very dense and reflects the light differently. It looks very blue. I could even see the blue of a couple glaciers from my plane ride over Canada. Have a great trip and summer. Mrs Bejin
