Getting Ready

My trip to Alaska is less than a week away!
There's lots to do before I head north.
I'm really excited that while I'm in the field my classes will still be in session.
My high school, White Mountains Regional in northern NH goes until June 19th.

I'm looking forward to getting there, and connecting with my freshmen. They're psyched that they"ll have contact with me on "our" adventure.
They asked "you're coming back, right?"
They're quite interested in phenomena such as 24 hour daylight, as we spend a lot of time on the ol' tilt of the Earth.

I'm looking forward to expanding my bird list on my free time(if any) while at Toolik Lake, I hear the opportunities are endless
