About the Expeditions:
Follow the TREC Teachers and Researchers throughout the summer on their expeditions to the Arctic! Arctic Alive will follow the 2005 TREC teachers who will participate in cutting-edge scientific research in remote regions of the Arctic.
Arctic Alive virtual expeditions allow your
students to participate in Internet-based campfire chats, online teacher/researcher
journals, message boards, photo albums, and classroom activities. Some
of the expeditions will also have real-time calls from the field that
connect the teachers and researchers to the classroom.
