11:45 a.m.	Presentation and Discussion on Working Group Topics and Goals for the Afternoon: Participants were divided into six (6) working groups. Each working group included participants from each of the four workshop participant categories—data provider, IT expert, data consumer, and knowledge broker— and a cross-section of disciplinary expertise. Each working group was assigned "working science examples"—integrated and interdisciplinary scientific questions around which to discuss needs and future approaches to advance arctic system science. These were not science planning priorities, but rather were a means of stimulating discussion on the broad issues of data management. Three "science examples" were compiled with input from the pre-workshop eTown Meeting and other sources; each science example was "worked" by two of the six working groups.
