29 July 1998 Preparing for Travel and Research in Alaska

Don's Journal: Well, preparations are advancing now with about a week to go before the real adventure begins. On August 6 I will be flying to Albany to meet up with co-conspirators Fritz, Anna, Javier, and others I believe. I am like a little kid on Christmas Eve. I want to be up there NOW! Anyway, while in Albany, Javier and I will learn about the equipment we will be using and what we can expect from people who have been there before. Stay tuned for late breaking preparations and last minute forgetfulness before heading up (down from Prudhoe Bay) to the Toolik Research site. TTFN
