ARCUS Polar Education List | How to Post

To post a message to the Polar Education List you must be subscribed to the list.

If you are subscribed you simply address a message to education_list@list.arcus.org and it is sent out to all members of the list. Remember that any message posted or replied to is sent automatically to all subscribers.

The list also includes a daily digest function (compilation of messages occurs at 8:00 p.m. Alaska time daily). You can change your subscription to the digest form by sending the following command to requests_list@arcus.org: subscribe digest education_list

There are some important list rules for posting messages:

1. attachments are rejected
2. messages larger than 512k are rejected
3. HTML mail is stripped and if it cannot be stripped, then the message is rejected.
