The ARCSS Committee is sponsoring an
eTown Meeting on ARCSS synthesis that will focus
on the results of the recent NSF Announcement of Opportunity
and near-term planning for system-wide research and
synthesis. This feedback form is available for
contributing questions or specific issues you feel
are important. This submission form will continue to
be available during and after the online meeting so
that anyone may participate in the process regardless
of participation in the eTown Meeting. (Launched
01/31/05)
The ARCSS Committee (AC) recently distributed a Dear
Colleague letter to the research community, the
second in a series of communications that is now now
called ARCSS Notes. The recent letter, ARCSS Note #4, is an update
on ARCSS Program planning and priorities and provides
information about two upcoming ARCSS eTown Meetings
(community webconferences). The ARCSS Committee
requested feedback from the community of researchers
on the various topics outlined in the ARCSS Note #4.

The research community will lead the development of
approaches to scientific synthesis and, in response
to announcements of opportunity from the ARCSS
Program, the implementation of projects that will
contribute to the synthesis. The survey includes
questions on key components and processes of the
arctic system, methodological approaches to system
synthesis, community needs, and related arctic system
themes. Click here to participate.
