Hey Mr. Oddo, I have just begun one of your online experiments that incoporates IMAGE-J Software to look at changes in Arctic ice cap area from February to August in the years 1998 to 2003. From the background information you have provided I understand the differences in the definition of Arctic boundaries that the AMAP and CAFF model provide, however, I wonder which model is more widely accpeted. In addition to the model that is most widely accepted, what model will you be using with your first hand experiments, the CAFF - based on Arctic Flora, or the AMAP which is a model that compromises the borders of many accepted models. Thank your for your help in answering this question!
Sincerely, Brandon Boldt |

Brandon,
Again really good question. I think that it isn't really which definition is more accepted. I think it is a matter of the context in which you are studying the Arctic. I will have to look into this question a little more and get back to you. Thanks, Mr. Oddo |
