Description: When you first see a siksik, you can’t help but thinking “what a cute squirrel!” but the siksiks are very unique creatures. They hibernate for 8-9 month out of the year and the siksik’s body temperatures can cool to -2.9 to -3.0 degrees during the winter time. They super cool below the freezing point of water!
