Tundra Polygons

These are Tudra Polygons. They are a common feature of the arctic landscape. They are 5 to 50 meters in diameter and are formed when the ground cracks as it freezes. The network of cracks in the ground that outline the tundra polygons take decades or centuries to develop.	5 4 3 2 1
