Hello, Libby!
Sorry to be so long in responding to your question - I haven't been checking for questions as often now that I am home.
BEO stands for Barrow Environmental Observatory and is a large area of land that has been set aside as "undisturbed" so that scientists can study the tundra. We had one eddy covariance tower at BEO.
IRGA stands for Infrared Gas Analyzer which is the instrument on the tower that measures the concentration of CO2 and H20 in the air.
