Everyone is loaded onto the back of the truck at 2am leaving the Inuvik airport...good thing we didn't pass a cop!
 Thank goodness for fuel caches! Here the pilot uses stored fuel to get us to Inuvik since we could not land in Sachs Harbor.
 This is the "runway" at Green Cabin. It is a flat area of tundra lined with old gas drums!
 A musk ox skull at Banks Island, I wanted it for my classroom but we were in a National Park so there it rests.

Here is a Musk Oxen carcass surrounded by a lush moss.
 A photo of Banks Island~boy was it nice to see all the green!
 Here is a large frost boil at Green Cabin on Banks Island
 Here is the reason we did not see polar bears...the ocean is still frozen...although you can see a nice lead.
