Bering Ecosystem Science | Ecosystem Studies of Sub-Arctic Seas Workshop
The planning process for the Bering Ecosystem Study (BEST) Program began with the Ecosystem Studies of the Sub-Arctic Seas workshop held in Laguna Beach, California, on 4-6 September 2002. Workshop participants were asked to identify priorities for a major research initiative in the Bering Sea and to investigate the possibility of developing a series of comparative studies of the marine ecosystems of the sub-arctic seas.
