Investigation 2.5: Local and Global Impacts

Investigation:
Interview with Dr. Hajo Eicken, in his office at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.

Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, students will:

  • Use science to understand and describe their local environment.
  • Understand that a small change in a portion of the environment may effect the entire environment.
  • Apply scientific knowledge of the arctic to understand local and global climate change issues.
  • Understand possible consequences of climate change to the environment and for floral and fauna.
