Investigation 2.1: Albedo Transect Research

Investigation:
Interview with Albedo researchers, Dr. Don Perovich and Dr. Tom Grenfell at one of their research sites out on the pack ice.

Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, students will:

• Understand Albedo and it’s relationship to the Arctic environment.
• Understand that a small change in a portion of the environment may effect the entire environment.
• Understand how Albedo research is designed and conducted.
