Schools on Board Expedition

On October 29th, 2006, a group of students from across Canada will board the CCGS Amundsen icebreaker to participate in the 2006 Schools on Board Field Program. The Schools on Board Network consists of educators, scientists and agencies that are involved in arctic climate change research and science education.

The onboard science program will take them through Frobisher Bay, across the Hudson Strait, along the Labrador Shelf and into three fjords of northern Labrador, proceeding into the Gulf of St. Lawrence, and ending at the Canadian Coast Guard port in Quebec City.

You can read about the students’ adventures by logging into the Expedition Logbook (1-11 November) on the ArcticNet website: http://www.arcticnet.ulaval.ca
