do u pee a lot? doesn't that water all around u (ice) make u want to pee? it would for me. do u smell? since u can't take showers a lot? do u miss me, because i would? i miss u. i like u better than the substitutes. did u get a pet polar bear while u were there? i would. the reason i say "i would" is because we are a lot alike. did u know that? when will u answer my q's. can u hear me and madeline talking all the way over there? well bye!

I'm so confused. I thought I responded to your questions earlier.
Wow. You have asked a very good question. I took a quick survey of the people on the ice sheet. Some say they pee more because they drink so much water every day (but not because they are looking at the snow). Others say they pee less because they don't like to get out of their tent at night to go to the outhouse so they hold it until their eyes turn yellow. Ok, their eyes really don't turn yellow, but you get the point. I just took a shower today! I went 7 days without one. Gross. But, since it is so cold, I really didn't smell. I am trying to stay away from polar bears. Bye. |

Dear Lauren, Thank you for making a clever title to your posting. My mama (who lives in Maryland) really did read your questions. She said she had the same questions that you had.

Hi Rekeisha - I usually go to bed around 11:00 p.m. and wake up at 7:00 a.m. so I try to get 8 hours of sleep a night. Somedays, I am still tired from walking through the snow so I try to take a little nap in the afternoon.
When I first arrived, I kept my watch (which had an alarm on it) in my sleeping bag to stay warm. However, I found that I couldn't hear it and I would wake up at too late. So, I had to hang my watch in my tent so that I could hear it in the morning. This worked much better. Thanks for checking in with me. Mr. McMahon |
