I think that you have asked a very good question! No one else has asked yet about the time difference. The Kuril Islands are 18 hours ahead of the time in Bellingham (Pacific Time Zone). That means that when it is midnight on Saturday morning in Bellingham, it is 6 pm on Saturday evening here. Most of the time we are one day ahead of you. When it is noon on Sunday here, it is 6 pm on Saturday there. That also means that when I fly back to Seattle, I can travel for over 24 hours and it will still be the "same date" - August 31. Weird, isn't it? Mrs. N-O |
