When the scientists find something intresting about how many pictures would you take of the appointed object?
How many cameras will you bring on the trip?
Would'nt you need a lot of film, and how much would you need?

Good questions! I don't know how many pictures that the scientists will take. I know that documenting what they find is very important and pictures are a part of that. I will be taking lots of pictures. I am bringing a digital camera that was loaned to me by the people at ARCUS (the group that is coordinating my trip). It is very small (fits in my pocket) and waterproof! It can fit over 400 pictures on the picture card and they are very high resolution (6 Meg!). Unfortunately, since I will need to send pictures for you to see by email on the satellite phone, they will have to be made smaller and I will have to select the most important ones to show you. The rest I will save on my computer and bring back with me when I return in August. Having a digital camera sure makes things easier!
Check back soon to see some pictures!
