Steps in constructing a fishnet:

1. Measure a 6 to 8 foot length of binder's twine.

2. Cut 20 strips equal to the distance from one hand to the opposite shoulder.

3. Select one of the strips and double it.

4. Attach this strip to the main line using a simple overhand knot.

5. Attach additional strips equal distance apart along the main line.
(Distance from your thumb tip to the tip of your index finger is good)

6. Test your net for strength. Tighten and repeat if necessary.

This completes the first row of your net. Continue in this same fashion until you have a completed net. Your net can be used for catching fish, carrying equipment, transporting injured people, or turned into a hammock.
