How long did it take to fill up those 16 containers? What other organisms did you find?

I think you're referring to the final series of stations we did where we moved around a small area near Barrow Canyon trying to find the boundaries of an area where Jackie Grebmeier (the scientist) had seen lots of mussels in the past. We made several stops and collected one van Veen grab full of mud at each stop. There was so much gravel that it took a long time to sieve the mud and we filled LOTS of containers. We started around 7 in the morning and worked into the early afternoon. I was just glad that I only had to collect and process the mud, not try to analyze it!
