Hi, this is Kaimi again. How has your trip been? I hope youre learning a lot! tongue.gif Anyway, i have one question for you and that is about the sea-cat. It is an awesome mechanical device but i was wondering how exactly you used it. Did you just frop it in anywhere and it would give you a reading or would you have to put it in the place you wanted and then hook it up or something? How exactly did that work? Thanks. Sorry, it might be a little hard to understand, my question. Thank you.

Hey Kaimi,
It's awesome up here. I will be sad to leave. No you are right. You drop it off the side of the boat and it takes a bunch of readings and stores it in its memory. When you bring it to shore you can download the data you collect onto a laptop. It is a real expensive piece of equipment but it allows us to understand what is happenning in the lower levels of the lake. Hope that answers your question.
