Hey Mr. Oddo,
I am writing to you today in response to your journal about the termanus of the glaciers in Svalbard. In the journal you discuss the fact that the rivers and gullies that have decayed into the ice are now raging with water. Was this an instace because it wsa the summer? Or is it a sign of global warming? If it is a result of global warming, is there a way that we can prevent the water flow? Isaiah |

Isaiah,
I think it was a combination of both. I think that every august the rivers have a lot of water in them. But I guess the question is, is there more water in the river? I think with continued studies over a long period of time, we will answer this question.
