I love that you had to build steps for the penguins to get out of the pit at Pony Lake! How many different species of penguins are in Antarctica and how many of them will you probably get a chance to see?

Hi Janet:
The penguins in our field site are called Adelie penguins, and there are also Emperor penguins here, although rare where I am. Tomorrow I get to go to the Penguin Ranch, where they study Emperors and Adelies. There are also Gentoos, Rockhoppers, and Chinstrap penguins Cheers, Dena QUOTE(Janet_Warburton @ Nov 22 2005, 11:32 PM) |
