When i was reading about the polar bears i was curoius to why they are so attracted to human camp sites? Is there anything perticular that polar bears are attracted to that makes them come to camp sites? Also what do polar bears eat where you were? Do they eat a lot of fish?

Hi Mike,
They are curious animals and also have a keen sense of smell. So they investigate things that smell curious to them. Since the polar bear that we saw was off the sea ice it was also probably lokking for food.
