cool.gif I know to you this will be a "well duh!" Question, but I know nothing about where you are going, nor, about Russia. So I was wondering like how much it's sunny and if it's more cold or hot their? I bothered to ask because I just want to have idvice if a friend or possibly I go. Just cuz! (Is it different at night?)

Well, Russia is a VERY big place (bigger than the US) so the climate is
different in different places. It would be like saying "What is the
weather like in the US?" Well, Washington is very different than
Florida or Arizona! The part of Russia that we are in is pretty cloudy
and rainy often. Not TOO hot, but when the sun comes out it can be
about 75-80 F. Mostly now, as we head toward the Kurils, it is cloudy
and foggy, but not raining, yet.

I'm not sure that I know what you mean by is it different at night.
Different from day or different from Washington? Either way, it is not
very different at night. Colder than day, and very much like
Washington. The sun comes up a little bit later and goes down a little
bit later than Washington, because we are further west in our time
zone. But the sun rises about 6 am and sets at about 9.

Thanks for the questions!
