Hey Mr.C now that i know a little bit more abou the pipeline I also wanted to know how far it traveled. Oh and I also wanted to know how your trip in the White moutains were, was it any thing like here and what were some of the interesting things that you fond

Chantale,

The oil pipeline runs 800 miles from the oil fields in Prudhoe Bay to the shipping ports of Valdeez.

The White Mountains of Alaska are quite different from the White Mountains of New Hampshire. The Brooks Range, while taller, looks more like the White Mountains. Since trees have trouble growing you get a lot more views as you hike along because you aren't walking through tall trees all of the time. The Brooks Range by the way are the mountains in the north and west of Alaska.
