Hi Crumrine.

We have probably talked about this in class, but I'm going to ask anyway:
Why is Alaska a good location to research global warming/ozone hole etc.?

Reg,

Thanks for being the first person to write in and ask a question. The simple answer is that arctic research is important because that area is an indicator of what will happen in the rest of the world.

For a more complete answer check out the following site. It includes answers to your question from the major groups with interest in the arctic.

Why Study the Arctic?

Hope this gives you what you needed. Write again sometime.
