On Friday May 12, 2006, Mike Bergin and Gayle Hagler from Georgia Tech visited Renfroe Middle School to introduce themselves, share pictures from the Greenland ice sheet, and let the kids experience what it is like to bundle up for weather that is much colder than we experience in Georgia.
All bundled up Mike Bergin and two students who are ready to replace me in case I can’t go to Greenland Gayle Hagler and another student who would like to join us on the Greenland expedition if 6th graders were allowed to go Thank you, Mike and Gayle, for an unforgettable visit. Your enthusiasm is contagious. To see more photos from this visit, please view the photos in the photo gallery. |
