Hi Kaylee and Joe,
No, I don't think that we will see a blizzard this summer when we are in Alaska and Canada. Although the temperatures can be cold where we are going on the Yukon and MacKenzie Rivers, the Arctic is actually a very dry place and doesn't receive a whole lot of precipitation in the form of rain or snow. However, the weather in the Arctic, based on my experience last year can change a lot in a short amount of time, so I am going to bring a lot of different clothes, both warm weather clothes, because it could get warm, and cold weather clothes for weather that may be cold. I will make sure to post the temperature each day that we are there. It might be fun to try and keep track of the temperature where I am each day I am in the Arctic and the temperature where you live for the same time period so you can see the difference.

Thanks for the question,
Amy Clapp
