TREC Virtual Base Camp _ Ask the Teacher (Dena) or the Scientist Team _ questions

Posted by: Ms. Davison's Geography clas Nov 28 2005, 06:36 PM

If you take a bucket of water and throw it in the air, will it freeze in the air?
What is the coldest it has ever got in Antarctica?
Why don't polar bears live in Antarctica?
How long does it take for a penguin to turn black and white?
What is the hottest it has ever got there?
Does compass needles spin in a circle, or point a certain direction?
How many blizzards occur per year?
Do you use fridges?
Do drinks freeze if they are left outside?
If the volcano erupted would it melt the ice and flood?

These are great questions! I'll need some expert help with a few of them, so I will answer as soon as I can...
