Amy and Max,

The difference in the amount of sediment these two rivers carry to the Arctic Ocean is VERY interesting. Can you tell us more about why the banks and watershed of the Mackenzie River can erode much easier than the banks of the Lena River? Also, what difference does the amount of sediment being carried to the ocean make in the context of the research you are doing on global climate change?
