Hi Devon,

Yes, the people that live along the Yukon and Mackenzie rivers do a lot of fishing. In fact, fish are a very important part of their diets and their cultural traditions. One example of how important fish are to the people along the Yukon river is that the email address of the Superintendant of the Lower Yukon School District (which Pilot Station is part of) begins with "YukonKingSalmon"! In think that is really cool - I hope to get to meet him.
