Hey Mr. Steve...
I live in Barrow, Alaska. Top of the World, and as you know, we are a coastal village. Where in Alaska did you get on a boat and onto the ocean? How was the weather? I'd assume it to be freezing, being in Alaska and all. laugh.gif

Hey Tiffany,
We left from Barrow to get on the ship smile.gif . Since it the ship was so large, and there was ice along the coast, the ship actually stayed a few miles offshore, and we took a helicopter from the Barrow airport (more specifically, near the FAA building) to the ship.

The temperatures were close to freezing, and it seemed to be foggy a lot in Barrow, but when it was sunny, it was really kind of nice. When I got back to Barrow, it acually hit 50 degrees (F) one day!

Thanks for the questions,
Steve

P.S. I really liked visiting the town where you live. I hope you enjoy it too!
