Hello there Mr. Oddo,

While observing the cores of Lake Kongress and Lake Linne, what characteristics were you looking for? Also, what scientific instruments did you use to profile the lake and analyze water samples?

We were looking at the layers of sediments that were deposited each year, just like trees have rings. When comparing the lakes, we were looking to see if we could correlate the layers. We used something called a troll and a seacat to profile the lake. Hope that answers your questions.
